I have nothing against wives, who choose to stay married after they know their husbands has been cheating on them. Some for years.
I won't say things like
"Why are you so stupid?",
"How can you trust a man like that again?" or
"Find another man!"
Affairs of the heart are complicated. When there are in-laws, children, money and businesses involved.
If you have seen what I have seen, you too would realise True Love is just a fantasy word for Karma.
Karma is even more complex.
因果要你還三十年，你不可能還了十年就能跑人。
But all I ask of my fellow sisters is...
Protect yourself.
Check yourself for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).
Save up.
The day you decide enough is enough, you need good health and some wealth to start anew.
Also, before you start another relationship, end your existing one proper. Be a faithful and proper woman, not a loose one. Don't give others the chance to taint your reputation and destroy your chance of getting a higher alimony.
Give your children a virtuous example to look up to.
Should you continue to stay under the same roof, you still need these assets to carve a new life for yourself.
Every woman should set aside money for herself. Don't be naive to think any man would feed you your entire life.
Seasons change, people change, love changes.
How much of yourself should you change to win his heart back?
Maybe in the first place, you are just Wife and Mother material in his eyes, and will never be Lover material.
Then again, there are men who don't realise the value of a responsible Mother.
Told to me once:
"I can just employ a maid to take care of my children and send them to tuition. There is no need for them to have a Mother around."
Said by a man who is well-respected at work but behaves very differently at home.
There are men who will never be faithful to only one woman, based on their Bazi. If you want Feng Shui intervention to set things right, not that it is impossible, but you have to ask yourself if this "Feng Shui-ed" love is what you truly desire.
Point is if you didn't marry right, at least stop having candy floss dreams of the wrong man.
This isn't meant to be a man-bashing post. My advice applies too for men who have cheating wives.
